Two suspension types are offered, namely blade spring or independent suspension, and both systems include shock absorbers. At roof height, it is the lowest of all caravans but with the ground clearance of a serious off-road vehicle. It’s the only caravan on the market that fits into a standard garage. The kitchen hosts several unique designs such as a fold-out working surface with a removable stainless steel table, a two plate gas cooker and storage space for all manner of cutlery and crockery. The fridge is secured in a closed compartment with access from inside the caravan through a top hatch. The fridge can also be accessed from the outside with its convenient sliding system. It has enough space for the 80 litre fridge as well as a fire extinguisher, wash basin and drying rack with hot and cold water. Mosquito nets also come standard for the main doors as well as all the tent windows. The tent is manufactured from UV stable PVC.
The Kavango has several shower options. The first is the slide-out system which has a solid shower floor so you will not have mud or sand on your feet while you shower and a toilet can be added as an option. It also has a removable roof which gives the user the option of an open or closed roof while showering. The second option is the hinged door system. This has a cupboard that swings out and a shower tent that creates the shower area. An external tent cubicle is easy to set up and the cupboard has ample storage space for all your bathroom goodies.
The Kavango caravan can be towed with a code EB License. It boasts a GVM of 1500Kg and has the capacity to sleep 4 adults. It has an overall width of 1960mm, an overall height of 1970mm and an overall length of 5150mm. It only weighs 1050 kg due to its lightweight fiberglass body.
