The Conqueror Courage takes second place in this year’s Offroad Trailer of the Year competition, and with good reason. This lightweight off-road trailer weighs in at a meager 490kg (basic), has a 90L belly-mounted water tank and a large nose-cone. It has a 1.8 ton independently braked axle with independent suspension and run-in brake system with auto reverse. The hot dipped galvanised chassis is designed to last and the body parts are all NC manufactured offering added strength and flexibility, ensured by high modulus polyurethane glue in all joints.
The Courage comes with an optional tent with 2100mm x 2100mm bed and the same floor space in the adjoining room. There is a large octagon shaped canvas awning with optional sides and a rear sliding rail for a 72L, 80L or 90L fridge. There is ample storage space up to about 2m³. All tents are made from military grade Ripstop canvas and are easy and quick to set up. There are designated mountings for a table, 2 jerry cans, 2 gas bottles, a spare wheel, axe, spade and a slasher. The massive nose box offers 300 liters of packing space.
There is a rear mounted spare wheel carrier and the excellent departure angle allows for some serious off-road towing. Conqueror has certainly designed a winner with their Courage off-road trailer. It’s designed tough – to take on any terrain.
